Do I Have A Healthy Body Weight?
Hi I am thirteen years old and I am 6′1″. I weigh 130 pounds. I don’t know if my body weight is healthy. I am planning on playing football next year. If I need to gain weight how much weight do I need to gain and how do I do that. Thanks. Please Help!

At 13 years old your body is growing and you need food for daily energy and growth. If you want to train for football, concentrate on putting good weight on by exercising and strength training. Don’t try to artificially put weight on by protein powders or lots of junk food. Eat plenty of good food, exercise hard, and get plenty of rest…you’ll do great!

HOLY wowzers! im 13 and only 5′3 you are like as tall as my dad and i thought i was tsll for my age. im not sure what a normal weight for someone so tall is all i know is i weigh 100lb…howd you get so talll by they way?
You are technically underweight, but if you have a smaller frame, you may be okay. Either way, you could probably do with gaining some muscle mass.

you want to gain muscle not fat or you wont be very fit any more, so eat healyth and exercise. eat lost of protien and spicey foods. (ir chick and tabasco sauce) it speeds your matabilism. try taking a naturel supplement or something, maybe creatine. its like 13$ every 2 weeks good luck
Sounds a little light to me. Even at your age, a person of that height should be around 150 lbs.
